Robert Joubert

CEO

Rob, as he’s affectionately known to his team, started Boomerang in 2005, and believes in the hands-on approach within the organization looking after the staff ensure that they look after the customers. Before launching Boomerang, he held senior leadership positions in contact centre operating companies in South Africa and the UK. Many often ask why the name “Boomerang” and the answer is simple I am a customer centric person, passionate about people, customers and services, and a boomerang always comes back. I enjoy travelling meeting new people, huge focus area is business development locally and abroad. I do seek adventure but also enjoy the serenity of nature, love live music and rugby.

Isabelle Pavy

Manager - Accounts and Finance

Isabelle Pavy is the heart of the finance team! Over the past 15 years, she has learned the ins and outs of our business and is a key instrument to Boomerang. With a marketing and sales diploma, she brings a fresh perspective to her finance responsibilities. Isabelle always strives for excellence and accountability and is a great motivator for her team. Isabelle grew up in France before travelling and settling in Cape Town. When you manage to keep her away from her laptop, you may well find her enjoying time with her family or on long walks in nature with her dog! Responsibility: Keep the pulse on all finance matters and ensure smooth running processes to support the team best!

Paul Oosthuizen

COO

Paul is a people-loving, number crunching technophile who loves grooming the next generation of business leaders.  He was Boomerang SA fractional CFO for a number of years before joining as Chief Operating Officer in 2021.  Paul now holds responsibility for staff engagement, customer delight, operational effectiveness and financial performance at Boomerang SA. He is a fitness fanatic and loves exploring the outdoors with his adventurous wife and two sons.

Carla Kolbe

Business Support

Carla is Head of the Department for Business Support which incorporates the Quality, Compliance, and Business Processing team. She is passionate about all things related to Customer Service, Contact Centers and believes that our People are the key to delivering Exceptional Service to our Customers. Carla is well known for building loyal and engaged teams and is truly an engagement-led leader who has a "Pull" Leadership style as opposed to a "Push" one. A seasoned, Contact Centre operations and customer experience professional with six sigma and process management skills she is able to get to the core of performance challenges and able to provide in-depth, fact-based analysis as a catalyst to change. A real team player that can have fun at work without losing sight of the strategic imperatives.

Adriaan Hefer

Digital Transformation

Adriaan is an inspiring leader with a focus on Agile digital transformation, innovative technology delivery management, senior level relationship building and leading the business through change. He is a BSC computer science and mathematics honours graduate. Certified Prince2 practitioner and Certified Agile Scrum Master. He is a specialist in Fintech, digitization, AI, mobile and internet technology, Agile software development and solutions implementation, ECM, document management, process automation and design, and BPO solutions, POPIA and ISO27001. Adriaan is an avid thrill-seeker with a keen sense of adventure, especially if it involves outdoors nature activities. Loves to travel and experience new cultures and food and meet interesting people.

Lee-Anne Pereira

Risk Compliance (New Business)

Lee-Anne is a result driven and high-performance individual, who believes in working incredibly hard to achieve only the best results whilst having lots fun. Her 17 years experience and industry qualifications within the insurance sector makes her the best fit to manage our Risk and Compliance portfolio. Her leadership ability and extensive operational knowledge from a brand identity and “consumer satisfaction” point of view, ensures compliance governance from the start of all new client relationships. Her expertise within Boomerang has started from managing the sales, customer services, retentions, quality assurance and Human resources department, has given rise to her been known as the “Fixer”. When not at the office she enjoys spending time at in the comfort of her home that she shares with husband, kids and fur-babies. She has a flair for creativity and uses her home as a blank canvas.

Lee Webster

Customer Service

Lee currently heads up several direct –to consumer brands within our customer services department. Skilled in Operations Management, Analytical Skills, Market Research, Management, and Performance Management. Strong operations professional with a Postgraduate Diploma focused in Management Practice from University of Cape Town. His years of experience in contact centre outsourcing /offshoring sector with experience in delivering multi-channel customer services to our clients around the world makes him an asset to our operational team. He enjoys watching a good movie with his family or can be found spending hours with “his” PlayStation.

Cindy Davids

Human Resources

Cindy is a highly experienced Human Resources Manager with more than 20 years experience in the field makes her a great asset to our business. Her current portfolio within our business includes strategic planning, HR consulting, labour relations, recruitment, performance management, coaching and BEE transformation. She is a strong and assertive human resources professional with a certificate in Human Resources Management and BA degree from the university of South Africa. In her past 20 years she has worked in many different industries but is a firm believer that people and behaviors are the same no matter the industry. The solution is how we use the human element to produce that productive workforce is important to benefit of the organization.

Robert Jacobs

Information Technology (IT)

Robert is responsible for the digital re-engineering of our organisation. Ultimately responsible for all activities relating to infrastructure enhancements, software engineering, data analysis and information technology service management. My primary concern is with ensuring that technology drives the commercial success of our organisation. The role combines my technical knowledge, team management skills and experience in dealing with outsourced service providers and suppliers. Enabling our business process outsourced (BPO) and financial service functions making sure that all technology functions are aligned to meet our organisation’s strategic and commercial objectives. Robert enjoys ocean as a serious fisherman he has represented Western Province on 3 occasions for Bass Fishing.

Naziema Williams-Bloew

Administration

Naziema also know as Naz, is our rock ! She's the sincerest person we know, with more than a decade of tenure and dedication to our business. Her reliability, consistency and operational understanding of the various departments within our business makes her a true legend. She has an eye for detail and handles all our corporate governance projects relating to Iso and Internal audits. In her “free time” Naziema spends a lot of her time focused on her family (husband and two sons) she is the heart of their home as she is the heart of the administration team.
